Dan Bouchard
Head Coach and Former NHL Player
Dan is currently the Head Coach of the Life University Hockey Team. From 1995-2002, while he was a coach the team won 5 National Championships.
He played in National Hockey League (NHL) for 14 years. Dan was Goalies Coach for the Quebec Nordiques for 5 years .
He has served for 22 years with Hockey Ministries International (HMI), conducting Hockey Clinics and ministries around the world, including Switzerland, Czech Republic-Slovakia, Sweden.
Jennifer Brewer
1996 Olympian - Handball Team
Jennifer is a 1990 graduate from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She was awarded a four year scholarship as a member of the Lady Chiefs Basketball Team and helped lead her team to a 1990 ECAC Championship.
She then transferred to the fast-paced European sport of Team Handball. In the goalkeeper position she played in five Olympic festivals where she earned one gold, two silver and one bronze medal; and in five National Championships earning two bronze medals.
Jennifer was an alternate member for the 1991 Pan American team and the 1992 Barcelona Olympic team. She became a Gold Medalist at the 1995 Pan American Games and a World Championship team member in both 1993 & 1995.
Jennifer ultimately competed in the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games in Atlanta, GA.
Nikita Jerrel
1996 Olympian - Fencing
Nikita competed in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta in Fencing (Epee). She learned fencing in a Physical Education class while attending University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has participated in several World Cups and World Championships.
Nikita has fenced for 25 years, but in the last 5 years has converted into a golfer.
She lives in Atlanta and is happily married to a Master Golf Professional, Jeff Jerrel. Jennifer is President of the Sugar Creek Woman's Golf Association.
John Barrett
Athletics Director & Basketball Head Coach
John is the Director of Athletics at Life University in Marietta, GA a position he has held since 2007. He is also the Head Coach of the Men's Basketball Team. Under John's leadership the team has won 3 Nation Championship titles, played 9 years at the National Tournament, won 8 Conference and Regional Titles and averaged 29 wins per year.
John graduated from Oglethorpe University in 1977 with a BA in English, where he was member of both the basketball and baseball teams from 1974 - 1977.
